 a-e on flute

Everytime I try to slur a top A on flute to the E beneath it, I underblow the E. Does anyone have any tips for stopping this?

the way to learn this is to know that you get high notes by blowing across the flute and low notes by blowing into it if you didn't know this then practice your long tones using what I just said
