How can I adjust my clarinet to play the same pitch as an A clarinet?? Please help.

It depends. If you are playing by yourself, with no one else, you do not need to. However, if you are playing with anything else you definitly need to or else it will sound horrible.

I've heard of a company who makes a devise called the inter-change-a-bore, or something like that. it changes the bore size in the barrel to change the pitch. i'm not sure how well it works or if it even works.

I think you can make small adjustments in the pitch by narrowing the bore. Even putting a piece of string down the bore will alter the pitch. But this would be for small adjustments, not a whole semitone. You will notice that A clarinets are a few inches longer than Bb ones. There's no way you can lengthen your clarinet, so you'll just have to learn to play everything a semitone down and ignore the lowest note.

As Gnomon said, to play on Bb clarinet for those music written for the A instrument, you should read one half step down.
Conversely, to play on A clarinet for those written for Bb , you should play one half step higher.
