i have been looking in to buying a baritone saxaphone for the past month or so. I am looking for one in the $2000-$3000 range. i want a good one but i cant be sure that the ones online are any good whatsoever. so if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

i also need help figuring out what the heck the finguring for a b# and an e# there telling me to play these notes and i cant find the finguring for them anywhere(if they even exist)

the E# is the same as a F and the B# usuealy does not exict b/c it woulb become a Cb and a Cb is the same as a B. so ask your director on the B# to see what note should acctually be played

Yeah I think questions like this are a prime example of why anyone who is going to do music should start out learning piano. On a wind instrument, it's much more difficult trying to explain why E-F and B-C is only a half step when all the other letters have whole steps in between them than it is on a keyboard where you can actually see all the notes spread out in front of you.

Yea the # just means a half step up from the written note and the flat means a half step down.

hey, a selmer bari is really awesome, i play one now, but that is probably out of your price range, Jupiter brands are pretty cool and i am looking at buying an artist series jupiter, i don't how experienced you are or how long you want to play but i would not go under 2000 dollars and i probably wouldn't go over 5000 bucks. hope this helped, oh yeah yamaha is a great brand, try www.music123.com

You really dont need to try very hard. All you really have to do is make a few notices and post them in a grocery store or somewhere where they have people going in and out and they have a bullitin board. Usally there's some busted up geezer that would love to get it out of his atick. Beleive me, it worked for me and im only 11 years old!! i play the alto sax but all of them are the same, comply?
