You are leaving out the scales of Cb and C#. These are legitimate scales also even though they are the equivalent the B and Db scales.

whole tone
whole tone

whole tone
whole tone
whole tone
semitone
You should be able to work out the notes for any one of the 14 scales from that. Then you can look up the fingerings for the clarinet here.

What I mean is, technically there are a lot more scales, but because many of the notes are enharmonic, there are only 12 different fingered scales. Sorry for the ocnfusion. I guess you are right. . .

Well technically there are an infinite amount of scales. But if you go past those 14 you start having scales with double sharps and flats, and we therefore don't utilize them. F# is included in the 14 as it has one less sharp than C#, but the A# and E# scales have 3 and 4 double sharps in their key signatures respectively. Not very friendly keys to play in.

Actually wouldn't A# and E# be the same as Bb and F scales since they are just enharmonics of each other? And isn't F# just the enharmonic spelling for Gb?
