I just got into jazz band, so I'm really into jazz right now... what songs/ cd's does everyone here like? There's the classic, Sing Sing Sing (awesome song!!!). I have the Benny Goodman version, i love the song!! What does everyone else like?

You sound like you're into big band jazz. Try Paul Whiteman, Fletcher Henderson, Count Basie, or Duke Ellington. My favorites are Miles Davis and John Coltrane, especially the two together on "Kind of Blue."

I prefer the Herbie Hancock style. Watermelon Man, Chameleon, Cantaloupe Island, ... I also like songs like Speak No Evil (Wayne Shorter), St Thomas (Sonny Rollins), etc etc
I don't really like bigband and new orleans-style...
