I was wondering if anyone knows of an online instrument repair guide for the clarinet? i was thinking of getting a dirt cheap metal clarinet and fixing it up to play like new instead of buying an expensive one.

You may buy a clarinet repair kit from Musicmedic for US$70. It contains instruction manual and materials, e.g. pads, springs and tools.

However I know the repair kit from the information provided on the web-site only . I haven't got one myself and I don't know how it works.
