 buying an oboe
Author: Orfeu

I'm hoping to buy an oboe but am confused about what fingering system to buy. Could someone tell me what type of oboe to buy that will allow me to play the oboe in its standard range? And are there any special keys that are essential to the oboe?
I thank you in advance for any reply.

Right now there are two types of oboes out. I should know. I have them both. One of them has one without an extra key. Try buying them because they are for beginners. As u get more advanced into the lower notes, Get one with a extra key.
