 how do i use my 3rd octave key

I just recently bought a fox 450 oboe and i don't know how to use the 3rd octave key i would appreciate some help please email me!

you don't have to actually use it, but what it does is help notes above E6(which is the 3rd ledger above the staff) come out alot cleaner, and improves the response. I use it instead of the 1st octave key for E6-G6, and then take it off for anything above that. If you have any other questions, just ask.

using the third octave key comes in handy for notes above a G above the staff. when playing these notes you still need to press the 2nd octave key too. hope i could be of help.
