 About flutes' sound

I don't think this topic is imporatant, but I was just wondering. Can somebody describe the analogy of how the flutes should sound?

i think that when you hear one note that there are actually 5 notes being played with a clarinet it's 11 so it has a much richer sound

Yeah, I've been thinking that flutes do sound like clarinets somehow, just more air added to it.
