Played for many years...stopped fo many years. Beginning again....best way to start?

Start slow, try to play some scales. Also buy some music books to get you going again. Good luck!

Easiest thing to do is get a good method book, and someone who can play a clarinet too(friend, private teacher). you can learn how to play it on your own, but if you know of someone who can also play, they can teach you little ways to make your instrument playing easier. You can also ask this person questions that you have.
