why does my sax squeak????? is it me or the sax????

If your just learning to play sax, its you, no offence. The only way to get rid of the squeaks is to practice. It took me like a week or so to get it down to a respectible level. If your not just starting, you might be tightening too much or not tightening the mouthpiece enough. If thats not either, it might be the reed. Other then that, im out of ideas. Hope that helps!

yeah when i played the clarinet i kept on squeeking and it was because i needed a stronger reed when i got one my playing improved dramatically
