Does anyone know a easy way to play triplets on a clarinet. 8 measures of triplets easily at a 144 BPM. Notes are (in the high register, not the HIGH-HIGH).........
DEF FEF DEF FEF DEF FEF FEF FEF

All natural. Can you tell me asap. I have an audition tomorrow.

What my band teacher did when she was learning double tongue (fast tongue) is that she took her mouthpiece and walked around the house doing her normal things and tongue a little fater each time you play it. You might want to start off at a really slow speed maybe 72 beats? Or even slower and just increase you tonguing to get clearer and faster. She says it worked for her, I personally havent tried it, but its worth a try.

i did a peice in a music festival with fast triplets. focus on the same notes, in your case E. then focus on changing from E to D or E to F. it'll be easier that way, instead of from note to note. Hope this helps.
