I'm starting College in about a month. I'm planning to be a music education major. There is a certain book I need for my flute classes and I'm not sure what its called. It is a method book. I believe the title is something like Advanced Methods for flute. It is a book with a blue cover and in the book are fingering charts and many studies such as fluttering tonguing and scales. If anyone has any information about this book or how to get it please let me know. Either by e-mail, heazier@hotmail.com, or by posting the information here. Thank you

The books are by Rubank. I used to use the Advanced Method ones, and I thought they were pretty good. There are two volumes- I and II (how creative!) They cover all the keys in three sections- scales/variations, duets, and little exersize thingies. They also come in Elementry method, intermediate method, and basically all the other well-known instruments. I think they sell them at all big music shops, they seem pretty common here in New Jersey.
