 Flute, clarinet, sax

It all depends on what type of sax you are going to play. Alto is closer to the flute and tenor is similar to the clarinet. I play all three.

im not sure what the origional question is, but I play tenor and my main instrument is flute. Im not too fond of tenor, i think im doing something wrong, and i have no idea how im going to march with it for marching band. But anyway, I thought all of the saxes were similar

they are in terms of fingerings, they are in fact designed to be as similar as possible, of course they differ in key,
embouchure and air control stuff but the types of music that you will hear from all the saxes will of course differ.
