Yesterday we had a Marching Band rehersal and I play Clarinet for Marching. I never have a problem getting the high notes or the really low notes, but on the throat tones (Middle C - Bb and the C# a 1/2 lower than middle C) I can never get them to play! I sit up staight, I give lots of air support and if i gave anymore I squeaked, and I just had my instrument checked out about a couple of months ago. Any tips or something to get those notes to come out?

Your description is confusing. Neither the C or the C# is a throat tone. Also middle C is the note one ledger line below the staff not the note in the middle of the staff. It sounds like you are talking about the note in the middle of the staff but you are not clear. What notes are you really talking about?
The throat tones are open G, the G#/Ab, A, and the Bb that start on the second line from the bottom of the treble clef and go to the third line of the treble clef.
If it is the C in the middle of the staff, it is quite possible that you are creating a leak by either not covering a hole completely (even though you think you are) or are bumping one of the side trill keys on the upper joint.

To NNN clarinetist,
My previous post under this explained the throat tones. They are the notes from G on the 2nd line from the bottom of the treble clef to the Bb on the 3rd line of the treble clef. They are so named because they are up in the "throat" of the instrument. Because so little of the length of the clarinet is used, they tend to have a different type of sound than the notes below them, particularly the Bb.
To Heather,
What note are you calling middle C? Middle C is one ledger line below the treble clef. This makes sense when you realize that the treble clef is the upper part of the Grand Staff (i.e. piano staff) and one ledger line below the treble clef is in the exact middle of the Grand Staff.

I am talking about the middle C below the treble cleff and above the bass cleff. Middle C like on the piano, not the C on the 3rd space on treble.
