im in my school's marching band, and this year we have a problem with the amounts of certain instruments. As a result, my band teacher wants to switch me from flute to tenor sax (since flute isn't doing much in a marching band and all). Im going to start learning it pretty soon, but before I do does anyone have any tips to make it easier/ quicker to learn? Thanks!

i've used this one many times before to develope the proper embourchure. put you thumb in your mouth and put your top teeth on the thumb. now suck your thumb, stop sucking and replace your thumb with your mouthpeice while not changing your mouth at all. now once it's in there blow, and for low notes sometimes you need to drop your jaw or they come out high.
