C flat equals B.
B sharp equals C.

C flat does not equal B sharp. This relationship is true of most notes, such as D flat equals C sharp, but it doesn't apply to the pair B and C or the pair E and F. This is easy to see on a piano as there is no black key in between the notes.

Just in case a piano keyboard is not handy - C flat is the same fingering as B natural. Portions of chromatic scales can be confusing to young musicians - bravo for looking to the web for advice - what happened to your band director for guidance?!!

a c flat is the same as a normal b, and a b sharp is the same as a normal c.

Since no one actually said before:
B flat (A sharp) Left hand- index & middle finger
Right Hand- Index finger
B Natural- Left hand- Index Finger
C Natural (B sharp) - both index fingers
All those can be raised an octave by using the 2nd octave key

Low B nat.- Left hand- index, middle, and ring finger, and
pinky on the b key (under the a-flat key, of the 2 keys extending away from the oboe, the one closest to the inside, or the only one (this key is not the rounded one).
Right Hand- Index, middle, and ring, w/ the c key down (the top one of the 3 keys for the right hand)
Low B-flat- same as low b, using the outer key on the left pinky instead of the inner.
