I have a question....what does the Op. mean on songs? Is it like a certain part or something?

It's the abbreviation for opus meaning work. It's used to indicate the works of a composer usually in the order published.

That's right! An opus might be a single song or it might be a complete collection of songs published together, a symphony or a concerto.

Also, to complete the definition, if multiple compositions are published at the same time, each composition is given a number. For example, op. 22, no.2
