can you read???
I wrote: "It used to be fairly common, as was the Eb alto clarinet. However, both have been known to be unstable in tone and pitch, and therefore are becoming more obsolete. They are still used though.

"As was" is an assimilating statement, meaning that the Eb soprano, LIKE the Eb alto are becoming obsolete.

Well im not going to say that its common and that its common because its about in between. If your talking about the actual clarinet. If your talking about actual written music...no...its not very common....Ive only heard 4 songs with an Eb Clarinet part before.

I play the Eb soprano clarinet, and there aren't a lot of pieces for it, unless you play level 4+ music. And it is hard to tune it and get a good pitch from it.
