when fingering FINGERING does your posture tend to suffer? Any comments? How erect should one sit?

well posture is one area that i can comment on greatly. If your having a problem with posture you should try to manuver your fingers differently or try to "work it" a different way. Altrnate fingerings are great. try 'em.

Well its not the fingures that affect your posture!! It is your posture that offects the way your fingures work. If you do not have good posture you will get cramps in your hands and you fingures may not work right. every instrument has a different posture and a different erectness. If you are playing a flute i can answer that but other than that, that is all i have for you now.
