i like professional sax to play jazz
can clarinet play such things.....like sax
make the sound vibrate at the end of the phrase?

yea, u need the right equipment, after all clarinet was 1st inline to play jazz from early music like dixieland

listen to S. Bechet,Eric Dolphy, Lester Young on Selmer metal clarinet, Buddy De Franco, Perry Robinson, Johnny Dodds, Anthony Braxton, John Carter, Pee Wee Russell,George Lewis,Roscoe Mitchell,Sonny Simmons,Artie Shaw, Columbian Cumbia music of the fifties, Mexican Banda Music Try a very open mouthpiece VanDoren 5JB and #2 to # 3 reeds. listen to Lucky Thompson and Steve Lacy and Bechet on Soprano sax ,note lack of vibrato in the first two and Bechets intense feeling.
it is about feeling and listening , if you have to ask.....
