Anyone who played this piece before?
anyway i was wanting to ask about tounging technics for oboe. Is it different from other instruments?

Tonguing on oboe isn't really all <i>that</i> different from tonguing on another woodwind instrument. You just have to remember to touch the <b>tip</b> of the reed with the <b>tip</b> of your tongue. Also, I found it helpful to try and think of tonguing with a lighter syllable such as "tee-tee" or "too-too" instead of something like "tuh-tuh" that you might find people doing on other instruments. Honestly though I think that might all just be psychological.
The most important thing about tonguing on oboe, and probably any other instrument is to remember that articulation comes from the diaphragm (not to open an old can of worms, a scientific can of scientific worms). You must blow through the notes to articulate clearly and accurately. When you come to a phrase of tongued notes you must think to yourself "Push!"
Right, those are my thoughts on the matter for now.
