 u need a good mouthpiece hard reed, good ligature and then practicly bite down on the bottom lip while tightening. doing this i was able to reach up to C# and it does not sound like a squeek i was able to get notes higher than A in a nice round full tone.

 The basic fingering for this note is Thumb and Register, Left Hand 2 and 3. You may have to add the F key or the F# key depending on you and your clarinet. It's basically the same fingering as the altissimo E but without the G# key, so your embouchure has to be good to make sure an A comes out and not an E.
