I can't understand the chart to finger the F# note on the 3rd octave. Can anyone help?

Hi F#:
thumb 8va key, 1/2 hole 2 0 //1 0 3 Low C-key

Use of a properly adjusted third or high octave key may help pitch or response.

An alteration is to partially cover the 1/2 hole.

Another is to use BOTH thumb keys, possibly with little or no 1/2 hole opening. This may be more responsive, clearer-toned, and more controllable. I thought I had posted this before, but incorrectly fingered. Sorry if it was here and didn't work.
