Is there a type of Flute that is smaller than the Piccolo, maybe one pitched one octave above the normal Piccolo??

No there is not flute that is Pitched Higher than the C Piccolo not even one that goes and octave higher. The piccolo is the Highest pitched instrument in any band.

Their is a flute between the piccolo and the flute. The Eb flute. Their is a Db piccolo which is one half step higher than the C piccolo. Those aren't around as much any more.
