 another funny thing I noticed

It's funny how people think that simply the fingerings are the same on instruments, that they can automatically play it. especially sax players. I'm a sax player myself(tenor), and I'm decently proficient on the tenor, but when I had to go switch to soprano for a concert, I found it much different. Why is that? shouldn't it be easy for saxophone players to switch back and forth? The answer is strangely obvious. The three components of sound. The air, the size of the tube it's going down, and the size of the opening it's going through(apature). That's why switching to soprano was harder. Less tube, Less air volume, and a smaller hole to blow it through. So next time all of guys who suggest that people easily switch from one to the other...think again. It's not so easy.
