 Mazzeo clarinet fingerings
Author: Martha Sandholm

I have a student who is using a Mazzeo clarinet , because she has a deformed left thumb. I am having trouble finding the fingerings for this clarinet.

I understand that the Mazzeo clarinet is a Boehm system clarinet with a modified mechanism for the production of the B-flat just below the break. There is an extra hole in the clarinet which is linked to the rings in some way.

I presume that most fingerings on this clarinet will be the same as a standard Boehm, but that the fingering for B flat will be different and that the fingering for A with the right hand fingerings held down will cause problems.

Hello Hello, I am trying to restore an old Mazzeo clarinet that I came upon and I would love to have a fingering chart to use when I finish. Thank you so much.
Have a GREAT day!
Erin Mazzeo

P.S. Any additional information that you have on this instrument would be great!
