Is there any way to play an E5 on piccolo that sounds good ive checked the alternate fingerings here but they all still sound like crap! could someone help please! should i play with a faster airstream roll out or in? =(

All I can say is to try different things until you find something that works. This note also gives me sme problems, but you can try rolling n or out, different fingerings, a combination of the two... some piccolos just don't play this note right. I play two of the school's piccolos, and the metal one also sounds crappy on this note- but the wooden one plays it much better. All I can say is try changing different things until it works.

DO NOT ROLL OUT!!!!!! This will mess up your tuning and make an ever crapper sound. Like ellie said try different things other than roll out. Also try a different piccolo. Its like my flute sometimes the note is nice but most of the time it sounds like crap. Just a weird note.
