Hello everyone. I have a big piece to play for our next concert, and have alot of Eb's in it. Of course right at the solo and ending! I am having trouble getting a clear sound out, and need help! Thanks,

Brendan

which Eb is giving you trouble?(approximately where on the staff). Sometimes alternate fingerings can give you a better sound.

Saxy Boy has a good point. Try the alternate fingerings first also check to make shure the pads are not leaking, and that non of the keys are bent. That is a big problem with the Piccolo

I always roll in and drop my jaw for that as it tends to be a sharp note anyway

To tell you what I do, I have to tighten my lips more. But it helps if you get a french horn mouth piece and practice like they do. It helps alot.
