sliding my pinky away form the key and replacing it with my ring finginger. And using my pinky to reach the second octive key. But in fast music thats to hard.

According to the description here in the Woodwind Fingering Guide, you should use the first finger of your left hand to operate the second octave key "as a side key", which normally means that you use one of the upper joints of this finger to work the key rather than the tip of the finger.

Wait, which hand are you using for the top joint? It should be the left hand on top, right on bottom. That's the only thing I can imagine that you're doing that would make it where you had a pinky finger close to the second octave key. With the left hand on top, there's no way you can touch the second octave key with your pinky or your ring finger.
With the left hand on top, it should be actuated with your index finger of that hand.
