I am trying to learn the upper octave of the keys G,A,Gb, and Ab for oboe. I see alot of fingurings for the fingerings above the F above the staff. Namely F to F# to G...and F to F# to G# to A, and so on for the keys of Gb and Ab. But I am having trouble figuring out the easiest way to complete those scales.
So I was wondering if there was a standard or relatively easy way to finger the high notes to complete the above scales.
Thank you:)

Hi Rob, regarding the question you asked, I suppose that there is no standard finguring chard for it. Those 'extras' are the alternate fingerings for trillings or certain passages where u might fing a particular fingering easier. so just choose a set of fingurings for youself and remember some of the alternate fingurings just in case u might need them one day. Good luck!!
