1. Have the horn checked out by a technician
2. Get a good teacher to make sure your embouchure is correct.
3. Practice, practice, practice. Low notes on sax are tricky.

Are you getting the 880=A pitch on your mouthpiece? It works good for me but I don't know about you, just try it. :)

Open your throat more. If you're singing something low pitched, you would open your throat more, right? Same thing with the sax. Also don't forget your breath supports!

You should also get your sax checked too, like Dee said. Leaks do affect the low notes...

If your mouth is too tight, the low notes won't come out. drop your jaw and make sure you have a steady stream of air. The low notes are hard to get out, just make sure that your throat is open and your jaw is looser. good luck!

Well i can't help you alot but i've been playting the sax since 6th grade and the only way that you can get low notes out is to hollow out your throat and blow hard and steady air. LOw notes are not easy to get out.By the way is your name Demetrius Cargile? just wondering becasue i have a boy named dee in ym band class .well thats all i can help you with .if you have any more questions you can e-mail me at east_coast_boy@hotmail.com

Drop your jaw more and (yes this sounds odd) try to feel like there is an egg in your throat. What I do is I think "low". It really works. Try to think of a foghorn or whatever they are called. There could be something wrong with your sax too so if that doesn't work you should get it checked out. Hope everything works out.
