Since i just first started playing the Alto Saxaphone(i play really well for a beginer), it gets hard to play the low notes, note F and down. what can i do to help me so that when i play those low notes my saxaphone doesn't squeek?

Try to loosen the bottom of your jaw and relax. Also support the note with a lot of pressure, it should make the note fuller. Lastly try putting more mouthpice in your mouth. Something here should help, and goodluck.

What helped me in the past was : relax the jaw but maintain your embochure...then toungue the note by saying 'taw' (tore) Hope this helps.

yeah, just relax. i play the bari sax, and to hit notes below low Eb, you REALLY have to relax. i do remember having trouble playing low notes when i started alto, and you just cant have as tight of an embochure to play low notes. now i am to the point in my alto sax playing where it is just natural to loosen my embochure as i descend from high to low notes. it is just something that you develop over time. just work on it. hope this helps.

Please learn to spell the name of your instrument correctly. It is saxophone not saxaphone. Generally I'm not a stickler on spelling but not being able to spell the name of the instrument that you play is pretty bad, especially when the correct spelling is printed on your lesson books, sheet music, etc.

It gets annoying when doing net searches to have to include a list of common but wrong spellings to find information on something.
