The English horn's fingerings are the same as Oboe, except you use the 2nd Octave key for anything above High G#.

I simply cannot make my horn play the low Bb - no matter what key I use as my right "pinky" and left "pinky" combination. I have a Cabart. Is there any hope for me???
Thanks.

you just need to practice and strengthen your mouth position, you may try puting the reed ferther in out our of your mouth or using a different reed

Virginia, the english horn normally only goes to low B, unless you have a special extension of some sort. I don't think you need to worry.
