 can't get low Bb to sound right on Bari Sax

Hi. I play bari sax, and i just can't get the Bb right. It sounded right before, but now it sounds real off. I checked all the screws and such, but its not that. Please help! District tryouts are in 6 days!

Is your bari a low A bari? maybe that low A key isn't staying openned completely. It's hard to diagnose the problem with out seeing the sax, you've probably got a pad not seatting right. May be out of adjustment.
