 When are you supposed to you vibrato?

Hey! I was wondering were to use vibrato in pieces such as Lincolnshire Posy? because ever time I use it on some parts it does not sound right. Also if anybody knows how to control vibrato I'll be very thankful.

Well, do you practice vibrato? I'm guessing your vibrato comes naturally since you asked if someone could control vibrato. Do you use your diaphragm or throat for the vibrato?
