Any opinions on the new Selmer St. Louis anniversary edition clarinet? I have one and am pleased with it. Just wondering what other peoples opinions are on this instrument. It seems that not too many people own one. I thought that it was just marketing hype, like most "anniversary edition" items are but once I played it I was sold. Fits me perfectly.

Hi there, Can you please tell me where you bought this clarinet from ? I have only just read about them and would like to know more. Have you played Selmer before ? I love the Recital but saw this one.
Hope you hear from you.

I have just bought myself a pair, i was having trouble deciding between the recital and the st.louis, but the st.louis has a really even tone across all its registers. Am really pleased with them as a pair, and the A clarinet has a really nice rich lower register.
I was also amazed at the ease of response they have, its really easy to play very quietly and still achieve a good tone, and tuning. Would recommend people to try them.
