 English Horn
Author: Will

Hello,

I am in College and I play the oboe. Music is not my major and I want to start playing the English Horn as an auxiliary/second instrument. I forgot whether the English Horn has the same fingering as the oboe or not. Thanks.

It does, though the English horn is pitched in F, so all the pitches you read on an English horn part and their corresponding fingerings will actually be a fifth higher than the note that is sounding.
