 b flat scale notes for alto sax

I need to know what are the exact notes for b flat major scale on the alto saxophone. whether its a g,a,or b flat.I need to know the notes in order.

Are you inquiring about concert pitch? The alto sax is pitched in Eb (a minor 3rd higher than C). To play Bb concert, you will have to transpose down a minor 3rd to G. Most bands tune to concert Bb and use the Bb major scale a lot for warming up. This means the alto will be playing it's G and G major scale The notes are G-A-B-C-D-E-F#-G.

The notes of the Bb major scale are Bb-C-D-Eb-F-G-A-Bb.
