 Need a hand?
Author: Cara

I know every thing there is to know about playing the flute. I'm going into my second year, but I went a head (isn't that supposed to be one word. A head. Ahead. Oh well). I can help you with just about anything- any thing (can't spell).

I don't want to take away from your enthusiasm, Cara, but there is something you need to know: No one with only 1 or 2 years of experience can know EVERYTHING about playing a musical instrument. Otherwise, why would anyone study music in college if there is nothing further to learn? Why bother practising if you already know everything?

It's great that you are willing to share the knowledge you have. Just be open to the fact that there is so much more to know.

don't exaggerate. it sounds...fake and somewhat immature. come back and advise us after playing the flute for decades.

Well I'm glad you feel you know a lot, but honest - thee is a lot moe to learn. Looking back in a few years you'll laugh at your post because by then you'll have a wealth of knowledge you neve knew there was to be had. Tust me - there was a subject about which I felt I know a lot, but then I discovered through convesations with othe people that I knew hadly anything, and it got to me. But now I know I just have to go out there and investigate - enless pieces of knowledge will make themsleves known. In the meantime you at least have to be prepared to learn, and be pepared to be taught.
