Are tenor sax fingerings the same as alto sax fingerings? I thought it went lower. I am a beginner. If they are different, could you tell me a sight besides this one where I could find it.

No difference, except for the key signature. Tenors play in Bb while altos play in Eb.

And the tenor sax *SOUNDS* lower. Both alto and tenor saxes are transposing instruments. Neither one plays the concert note. When you finger the C that is one line below the staff, the alto clarinet will sound the concert Eb below it while the tenor sax will sound the concert Bb that is one octave + one whole step below it.

They are the same. Fingering wise. Tenors do go lower on the staff, but the fingerings are all just the same.

if you've ever played Bb clarinet/bass clarinet, the fingerings on tenor sax are the same as the upper register of the clarinet... just FYI
