I play the bassoon and I cannot play the really high notes(from G3 to Bb3) For our school graduation I couldn't play the high G! Fortunately the clarinets had it also so it didn't sound too bad. Can someone give some techniques on playing the high notes. THANX

make sure you have a firm emboucure and that you practice

if you ar really in need of hitting a high note put your teeth on the reed, I can hit the 4th octave G this way
