Technically this is a tremolo not a trill.

Clarinet .. yeah a tremolo.. its for Godzilla eats Las Vegas.. awesome song.. there is also something that says.. slow portamento.. and under it *Ossia (only if port. is not poss.

To perform that tremolo use the 123|1-- for F and 1--|1-- for Bb and alternate. Make sure the two trilled fingers lift up at the same time and that the Bb doesn't go flat (it likes to with that fingering).
In response to your second question, Ossia means "also" or "or". It is usually used to provide an alternative way of playing a particular passge and is usually accompanyed with the alternate method (often a slightly smaller stave with the part which is written under the Ossia section). If this is not the case for your piece, ask the conductor what s/he wants.

I've polayed this song, it is great. a portamento sounds like a slide between two notes. you start one one note, and use your embouchure to bring the pitch up and then hit the note. a slow portamento is just doing it slowly. hope this helps.

ya thanks for the responses... the problem is making the portamento work lol I've never had to do this before. Mr. Beaver asked me to be in the college band and i'm a H.S. senior and never had to do this stuff before!
