The next major update to the WFG is well under way. This update includes a separation of basic and alternate fingerings for all instruments, including flute.

Hey! Have you checked out some of the flute books suggested on the web. You might oughta try 'em. They helped me alot.

I think it is a great idea! I know when ever I'm practicing a new piece I sometimes forget haow to finger notes that I normally don't play. Young musicians can really use the info.

keys fingerings
A natural thumb 1,2,7
A flat thumb 1,2,3, pinky,7
B thumb 1,4,7
C 1,7
D natural thumb 2,3,4,5,6
D flat all fingers up
E flat thumb 2,3,4,5,6,7
E natrual thumb 1,2,3,4,5,7
F thumb 1,2,3,4,7
G thumb 1,2,3,7
Those are all the ones I know if that is what your looking for.

I have a flute playing exam on Tuesday, 1/17/05 and I don't know a lot of the high fingering for the flute that are off of the staff, like a high G. I need help so that I don't fail band. HELP!! Thanx
