Ever heard of double tonguing? It's where your tongue basicly goes on the roof of your mouth for some of the notes. It's not really meant for reeds (designed for flutes) but if you can do it, it sounds really good. I'm not great at it, but I know people who can do it. Ask an experiened player to show/teach you how, it's difficult to explain. In just words. Good luck!

hey. my sax teacher recently tried to teach me double tounging (didn't go too well) and he said soemthing like say 'ta ka ta ka...etc, etc.'the 'ka' bit doesn't actually make ur tounge come into contact with the reed, but if u practise it enough, you'll eventually ge it. so he says, anyway. Also, maybe you could fudge it and just flutter tounge. I did when we did a workshop with the navy band. didn't sound too bad.
anyway, hope this helps.
