No joke. No stupid prank to get people selfishly noticed. This is a bunch of serious forums that someone else in this forum recommended to me (thanks... you know who you are!)

I think you click on forums when you're in there. And when you get in there, there's forums to different genres of music and different instruments (for woodwind players, there's a flute forum, oboe forum, clarinet forum, bassoon forum, and sax forum.) Plus there's a classical forum and a jazz forum (ALL JAZZ FANS- this forum doesn't get filled up too often, and most of the time it's full of crap... we need people to give GOOD jazz advice :-)
And I'm not saying that you shouldn't visit this forum anymore. I take part in both now, and I find it very enjoyable. Plus, there are links to other sites that I think you all will enjoy!

I'd have to say that I like THIS forum MUCH more. I used to visit the flute forum regularly, but most of it is a load of crap, like "who is better at the flute: boys or girls." This forum is much more relevant to MUSIC.

Yeah in some ways you're right there, Amanda, but there are some forums where you give your email address and you can specify a particular piece, and the person who started the thread will email you the piano music for that song. It's pretty cool. I must say, I've never tried it cuz I'm a virus protection freak, but if anyone has tried it, will they post? That would be great-thanks!

yup, I always go there too, I go here, 8notes, and the Oboe BBoard, and sometimes flecktones.com, also the makingoboereeds.com forum, and musician forums on msn.
