Hi everyone,
I just starting learning the flute this year. I wanted to join band so I tried it out. Im in it and I don't really know that much about the flute. I know a few fingerings but not all of them. When we play a song and I don't know some of the fingerings I play it off. Can anyone give me advice to learn the flute a faster way? Or easy steps. Please send me instructions in my email.
Thank you.

try to get a book for beginners. it should take you step by step. dont worry about high notes. try to get an experienced player in your band to help you. i've played flute for two years and this is how i got started playing it. good luck!

All you need to do is keep practicing. The more you practice, the better you will learn it. You will be surprised how fast you learn to play the flute and how good you get. If you don't practice, you won't get better, and it will take longer to learn the flute.
