I want to learn Baritone Sax really badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My only problem is that I'm a bass player and a drummer, so I'm used to reading Bass Clef. Another obsacle is the cost. I'ma very musical person a pick up things fast. Cost is making me nuts. Are there any suggestions on that or the books. I hope I can affored one! I WANT TO LEARN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay first in treble clef the lines are e-g-b-d-f and the spaces are f-a-c-e. i'm sure you have heard this before. if you are really absent on the topic pretend the notes are bass cleff only two notes. for instance a second line b would be a g and a third line e would be an a. this isn't the best thing to do but if you must do it and it works for you... go for it.

Dave,
I've been playing the saxaphone for 4 years and i enjoy it a lot.I have just recently picked up on a the barri sax, and it's great. If you wanted to start the saxaphone, you should first start off with the alto sax. When you become more advanced, you can go to the barri. For cost and even lessons, you could probably rent a saxaphone at a local music store and even pick up some lessons for some one who might work there. Hope i helped:)
