I have been playing the flute for 6 years and now am in High School as a Freshmen. I decided recently that my facination with the piccolo should maybe be turned over into me trying to play it. I have had some success I can get notes out pretty clearly but I don't know if all of my fingerings are correct. So I would really appreciate it if someone out there could send me something on the fingerings, and soon. It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all.

The fingerings for piccolo are the same as the flutes fingerings, its just that the piccolo plays one octive above the flute with the same fingering. The only time the fingerings are different are in the really high octives.

I have played piccolo for about 3 yrs. Piccolos are picky instruments. If u have tried everything, maybe you should take it to a repair shop. I have also heard that piccolos have a few different fingerings, but i have a range from d-HIGH c. I use normal flt. fingerings. If you still cant get it after taking your pic. to the shop, u should get a private teacher to help you.

I have just bought a piccolo today, after playing the flute all through primary schol and the first 3 years of high school. But i have found out that all the fingerings are the same as the flute, but are 1 octave higher! Happy playing!
