Hi i am in the market for a new tenor saxaphone and i was wondering what everybodies preferences were for what brand they played , like tone quality, keys. I would like a pro tenor with good tone. Any help is much appreciated.

I play a jupiter artist series professional level tenor sax. I really like it, and think it's an easy blowing horn
But you should definitely try and find a music store where they'll let you try some saxophones out before you purchase them, because different set ups work (or don't work) for different people. You could check out www.wwbw.com to see how people rated different saxophones they bought. good luck!

best bet for quality instrumetns is the top brands, Selmer has a reputation of being very very well made instruments, Yamaha make very good instruments as well. it's also preference. some people like Yamaha's better then any brand, and others like Selmers better then any brand. there are other companies that make very good brands as wel. shop around and test play before hand, ask your instrument dealer what brands they have that are good quality. hope this helps.
